Tips:

  • To make your biscuits light and fluffy, be sure to use cold butter and buttermilk. You can also freeze the butter for a few minutes before grating it to make it even easier to work with.
  • If you don't have buttermilk on hand, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to 1 cup of regular milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes before using.
  • Be careful not to overmix the dough. Overmixing will result in tough biscuits.
  • Drop the dough onto the baking sheet by rounded tablespoons. Don't flatten them out, as this will prevent them from rising properly.
  • Bake the biscuits in a hot oven until they are golden brown and cooked through. This will take about 10-12 minutes.

Conclusion:

Lemon egg biscuits are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast or snack. They are perfect for any occasion, and they are sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
