TILAPIA WITH PIMIENTO SAUCE
I found this recipe on a cooking blog that I frequently read, and it's so good. This dish is so easy because everything is prepared in one skillet, on the stovetop. The fish comes out with tons of flavor, and all the flavors complement each other very well. Any mild, white fish can be subtituted for the tilapia, too. Sometimes, I drain the tomatoes and add 1/4 c. white wine to the sauce. My picture shows this with Recipe #69063, and crusty bread might be good with this too.

STEAMED TILAPIA IN WINE SAUCE
I developed this recipe while working at a local winery. Fast and easy to prepare, it became an instant classic at my house. I use a lively dry pear wine in the sauce and recommend avoiding those that are sweet or semi-sweet. -Tenneille Brewer, Fayette, New York

TILAPIA IN CREAM SAUCE
Tilapia in a zesty cream sauce. You can substitute any of your favorite fish(maybe not salmon). I've used flounder and orange roughy but prefer tilapia over flounder for the texture and over orange roughy for the price. A very fast and very good fish recipe.

- When done baking remove fish and turn oven onto Broil and if using an electric oven move rack up in oven so that fish will be about 6 inches away from burner.
- Spread cream sauce over fish evenly and place back into oven/broiler, cook for an additional 4 to 6 minutes or until sauce starts to blacken remove from oven/broiler and serve.
- Enjoy! From start to finish 30 to 35 minutes for a Great Sit Down Meal. Serve with your favorite sides!
- Note: The more hot sauce the more you will change the flavor. I recommend you taste as you add. The hot sauce is the key ingredient for the zest!
Tips:
- To ensure your tilapia fillets are cooked evenly, make sure they are all of similar thickness. If you have fillets of varying thicknesses, cook the thicker ones for a few minutes longer.
- If you don't have a grill pan, you can also cook the tilapia fillets in a regular skillet over medium heat. Just be sure to grease the pan lightly with oil to prevent the fish from sticking.
- The pimiento sauce is a great way to add flavor and moisture to your tilapia. Be sure to simmer the sauce for at least 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve the tilapia fillets immediately after cooking, topped with the pimiento sauce and your favorite sides. Some good options include rice, roasted vegetables, or a simple green salad.
Conclusion:
Tilapia with Pimiento Sauce is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The tilapia fillets are cooked to perfection and the pimiento sauce adds a wonderful flavor. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
