BROILED BANANAS image

Number Of Ingredients 3

1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon lime juice
4 medium size firm ripe bananas (1 1/2 pounds)

Steps:

  • Turn on broiler, Have a shallow baking dish ready. Mix brown sugar and lime juice in a large bowl. Peel bananas and slice 1/2 inch thick directly into bowl. Toss gently to coat with brown sugar mixture. Spread bananas in ungreased baking dish. Broil 4 inches from heat source 3 to 5 minutes until sugar has melted into a glaze. Serve immediately.
