This is a treasured recipe from my Mom passed down to me and now to my daughter and grandchildren. These cookies are wonderfully delicious and addictive. Feel free to substitute dried cranberries in place of the raisins if you prefer.

Steps:
- 1. Combine first 8 ingredients (flour through raisins) in a bowl and mix well.
- 2. In a separate bowl, cream together the remaining 4 ingredients (butter through molasses) and mix with dry ingredients.
- 3. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees F. for 12-15 minutes.
